Required Documents for a Home Loan
Whether you are a first-time home buyer or just refinancing an investment property to obtain cash out, it is extremely important in the loan process that you are prepared ahead of time, to ensure a quick and easy closing.
Whether you are self-employed or salaried, you will need to have a standardized checklist of documents ready to fax to us before loan submission. Please be prepared.
Here is a Checklist:
For Salaried Borrowers
1. Last 2 years W2s
2. 30 days most recent paystubs
3. 2 months most recent bank statements
4. Copy of Drivers License
5. Quarterly or most recent asset statement – 401K, IRA, Stocks, Bonds, etc.
For Self-Employed Borrowers
1. Last 2 years Tax Returns
2. Year To Date Profit and Loss Statement
3. 2 months most recent bank statements
4. Copy of Drivers License
5. Quarterly or most recent asset statement – 401K, IRA, Stocks, Bonds, etc
For All Purchases, will also need a fully executed purchase contract signed by all parties
For All Refinances, will need a copy of your original mortgage note
**Please note, in some instances, some of the above can be waived prior to submission if your credit score is above a 720
